Smooth Transitions

Hi All!
I'm in Knoxville, TN! It was a long process to get out of Spain and back into the States but thanks to our incredible leadership at G42, we finally made it. I flew home to Chicago for a few days to grab my car and get over jet lag, and then I made my way down to Knoxville.
My teammates and I are getting settled in and learning all about what we will be doing this summer. To say I'm excited would be an understatement. We have such real opportunities to learn how to love like Christ and fight with those who are being oppressed.
I miss Spain and my G42 peeps already. But I have had such a smooth transition moving into this season. It has come with so much peace.
This past season in Spain was almost nothing like I expected it to be. There were twists and turns at every corner. We were stuck in a house for 10 weeks with classes online instead of in person. Our practicums got moved to the States instead of overseas. And we didn’t even know for a while when we were going to be able to fly home. Yet, I don’t think I’ve ever ended a season with more peace than I had ending this one. My time in Spain was nothing I expected it to be but everything I needed it to be. And it was so, so beautiful.
And that peace has carried into my time settling in for these next 3 months here in Knoxville. It's honestly been deeply moving how smooth this has all been. I'm so thankful to Papa for it.
A lot of my time during this transition has been spent sitting, just soaking in the gratitude and peace, and practicing the presence of my King.
Thank you for continuing to follow me and letting me share how my life is being transformed day by day through my relationship with my Father, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit.
Love you lots!
Rach
