Hi! I'm So Glad You're Here.

My name is Rachel Cavender and I am a citizen in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. I love writing about what that means and how it shapes the way I live and the way I see. This is a space for me to do that!

I'm from the suburbs of Chicago, IL but I am now living in State College, PA. I love coffee, simplicity, and I tend to be a bit dramatic (but just for laughs) :) My heart yearns for others to have cross cultural experiences and for people's hearts to be heard and clearly represented. I believe our differences are beautiful and actually something to celebrate. 

 

Throughout the past 2 years I have participated in a few different programs (The World Race and G42) that have helped me solidify my identity in Christ and have taught me my purpose in His Kingdom. These programs stretched me and brought me into levels of freedom that I never even knew existed. 

 

And now I live each day to know Christ more and to be His love in this life and forevermore.
